Gmail Inbox vs All Mail

Gmail Inbox contains messages listed as read, unread, where unread messages are bolded in your message list. Gmail inbox is categorized into sections like, Important, Unread, Starred. You can customize inbox displays and organize mails. All Mail is your archive, a storage place for all the mail you have ever sent or received but not deleted. You can find the list of messages archived by clicking All Mail. Click More drop down menu under your Labels list to visualize it. Archived messages are also available by searching, and under any assigned labels.

After Gmail Login, you can notice that Gmail Inbox sections are organized into different sections such as “Starred”, “Important”, and “Unread”. Gmail users can customize their inbox displays and organize mails. You can use the check boxes next to the sender’s name and then perform actions on those selected conversations using the buttons at the top. If you want to see the messages you have starred, deleted, sent, etc., click on the labels on the left hand side of your Gmail page. In Gmail.com, messages are grouped into conversations, so that all responses and follow ups appear as a single mail in your Gmail Inbox, you can also add stars to mark special messages or conversations.

If you want raise an issue or problem in the official Gmail forum, visit the Gmail Help Forum, click Post a question. If you are not signed in to a Google account, log on with your Gmail address and password. If you are not yet registered for Google Help: enter your desired forum name, examine the forum Terms of service, and then click Accept and Continue. If you are not the member of Gmail forum, pick the name you want to show up next to your posts. Optionally, connect your forum persona to your Google profile, and click Join this group.

Gmail Outlook Help

To set up seamless access to all your Gmail mail and labels in Outlook, make sure IMAP access is enabled in Gmail. Select Tools/ Account Settings option from the menu in Outlook, and then go to Email tab and click New. Now select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP and click Next. Type your name, your full Gmail address. Make sure additional server type is checked, click Next. Select IMAP account type. Then type your Gmail password, go to more settings, then go to Outgoing server tab and make sure my outgoing authentication is checked. Now go to the Advanced tab, select SSL, then click OK, then Next and click Finish.
